In June of 2007 I awakened to the terrible problems of plastic, poisoning our oceans and littering our planet. I began a quest to live as plastic-free as possible and to encourage others to do the same. On my blog, Fake Plastic Fish, I track the amount of plastic waste I generate each week and write about alternatives to plastic as well as actions we can take (like sending unwanted plastic back to distributors) to make our voices heard.
I'm interested in learning as much as I can, not only about plastic, but about environmental and human rights issues in general, so that I can live a more mindful life.
