Contradictions are what make things human and real. We aim for philosophy and religion in our hearts but our mind wanders like animals across the world trying to survive the best we can. Art, music, literature, film, dance, these are what reconciles the animal in all of us with what is pure and divine. If you deny science and research you deny nature. Ethics in scientific pursuits should be applied by the enlightened. Everything is in transit. We are details in a natural system that has a pattern and beauty all its own. We are born (input), travel our path (circuit) and we die (output) and thus all life is like Modern Systems Theory if looked at through a Buddhist lens. Matter and energy is never creater nor destroyed, just changing states. Transmodernism. |
