| I don't know much, but I believe that our purpose on this planet cannot be to hurt each other. That would make no sense at all. Our world manifests an underlying order among interdependent cycles of growth and renewal, all of which reveal an exquisite harmony. It is inconceivable that we should evolve in this context, only to turn it all upside down to satisfy our delusions of power and prominence. In whatever place and circumstance we find ourselves, it seems that our most appropriate behavior is to help and comfort our fellow beings. All of us are born of the same sun, and equally deserving of respect: plant, animal, every species, every member of our family. Our task is to celebrate Life, give Love, foster Peace and Harmony, in everything we do. Every day, every job, every encounter, is an opportunity to Love. No act of kindness is trivial. |
